History of Spin-O
Deep in the jungle of the Galapagos Islands a Historic archeologist named John-O was digging for an ancient artifact that the natives called Spinoo.

Late one summers eve, after spending weeks of digging in the moist jungle, he uncovered a small oak box that had strange markings on the outside lid.

He opened the box and was amazed at what he had found. Wrapped within some large fern leaves was a strange object that John had never seen before.

It was an oddly shaped, perfectly level solid piece, that had writing on six sides.

Not knowing what he had found John took it back to the near by village and showed it to a couple of local natives, others began to surround him with curiosity. A very old man walked forward and grabbed the artifact from John's hand. He took it to a piece of wood that was lying on the ground and quickly turned it with a quick snap. It began to spin! It spun with ease and accuracy and landed on one of the marked sides.

The old man held out his hand and nodded towards a bag of food that was wrapped around John's belt. John took a handful of food and handed it the old man. The old man shook his head, no. He put up two fingers and John gave him two pieces.

The old man laughed and spun the object again. This time it landed on a different set of markings. The old man handed John the food back. John then realized that the Spinoo was a game!

After many days, all the village people were playing with the Spinoo, and John was able to translate the writing into English. After many attempts he was able to replicate the Spinoo, and he made them for years, giving them to people all over the world.

He called it Spin-O and it has been passed on for many generations.
